When my dad named me Jasmine, his aspiration for me was to be a fragrance. I am not sure whether I have lived up to his aspiration, but little did he nor I knew that being born in Gomatimuthupuram, a small village in Tamil Nadu that I would land up in the UK to learn, to teach, to be ordained, to earn a doctorate, to serve and to work in various churches and ministries. Bible, theology, context, liberation, hospitality, listening and serving are my passions. Cooking, painting, and travelling are my hobbies. As a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend and a colleague, striving to live up to my dad’s aspiration.
